As such, over this past weekend Compass Geomatics Ltd. was the presenting sponsor for the Gilwood Golf & Country Club 2013 Club Championship in Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park, Alberta. Held on September 7th and 8th, the event was a two-day tournament, consisting of 36 holes, meals, prizes and a great time for all!

Compass Geomatics Ltd. is pleased to announce the expansion of its professional land surveying and mapping services into Saskatchewan. Blake Wahl, SLS, MLS, has been hired as the Branch Manager for the new Compass office located in Regina. “We are very excited to have Blake join our team and to start operations in Saskatchewan. Compass Geomatics Ltd. announces the expansion of its crew base, recently hiring field crews in Edmonton and Olds and strengthening its overall service capacity in the Central and Southern regions of Alberta. Compass Geomatics currently has field crews located in Calgary, Olds, Red Deer, Edmonton, Whitecourt, Slave Lake and Grande Prairie. A notable addition to the Compass Geomatics team is Senior Crew Chief, Bob Gulbe. Mr. Gulbe has extensive experience in the oil and gas survey industry and has been a top Crew Chief for over 25 years. Compass Geomatics welcomes its new team members and looks forward to continued growth based on a strategic model which emphasizes the continual optimization of service to its clients.
The Tools section to our website now offers our users four tools for convenient calculations. We have included an Area Convertor, Distance/Length Convertor, and a Basic Volume Convertor for simple conversion calculations between several different units of measurement.
