At Compass, we use the most up and coming survey technology to enable us to do a variety of jobs in hard to reach areas or hazardous situations.

The photo is of our eBee senseFly professional mapping drone and the images of an oil spill containment site that we worked on. Drones have become extremely helpful to measure and quantify oils spills, determine how the oil is moving in water, and provides critical information to increase the safety and ability to make better decisions in the clean-up and planning efforts. Using a drone can vastly reduce the time spent collecting accurate data. By acquiring raster data from the sky in the form of geo-referenced digital aerial images, with resolutions as sharp as 1.5 cm per pixel, we can gather millions of data points in one short flight.
